OK, I know some of you are thinking, there are some persistently perky people, that appear to have too much happy. But when you think about genuinely happy people, the ones who naturally find the silver lining in most situations but aren’t oblivious to reality, are they really experiencing too much happy? Or do they just value happiness enough to make that their focus?
Part of experiencing more happiness is about recognizing it when it happens. It’s so easy to be oblivious to the countless small things that make us smile everyday. That’s why the Society identified 31 Types of Happiness so everyone can recognize more happy moments. Which one are you experiencing today? You can even click one of our Happicons and share it on your social media site.
The purpose of Happiness Happens Month is to encourage people to recognize and talk more about their happy so we develop the habit of being happy more because You Can Never Have Too Much Happy. And on August 8th is Happiness Happens Day when we do HappyThon2013 ~ it’s all about the social media sharing!
Share with us the type of happy you are right now (by Sunday, August 5 at midnight CST) and you’ll be entered into a drawing for our Happiness Happens Month T-shirt with the message You Can’t Have Too Much Happy on the back.
I am a thankful & blessed kind of happy. Oh and Friday happy!
I am so impressed with all the wonderful things you have given your ambassodors to help spread the happiness this year – AMAZING!!!
My type of happy today is Thankful!
Happy by way of gratefulness. Grateful for the music playing on Spotify that keeps me Happy while experiencing the frustrations of my work.
I love sharing all the positive things to make those around me as happy as I am
I really enjoy sharing all the positive a thought provoking things with those around me.
happiness for me is being retired and just enjoying relaxing and not having to answer to a time clock at least for now!!!!
I am soo thrilled I looked into your sight and that August is Happiness Happens Month!! I am also ecstatic about being a Happiness Ambassador through August as it is also my birth month…I just guess Happy is what I was BORN to do! HA!
I’m so happy. Baby is napping, nice breeze coming in through the windows and my bookwork is quickly coming to an end.
Thanks for the daily pick-me-up. You are better than a Snickers and a Diet Coke.
Thanks for the great info and ideas for helping others realize their happiness! I have to tell you, last year was a tough one for me as I had 2 back surgeries and there were days I could barely move let alone smile! My hubby is a wonderfully happy person, and he helped me get through it. Being an Ambassador is a great, up lifting experience – helping others is definately a great way to get your mind off of physical pain. Looking forward to see what else will happen this month!
My motto for the last 30 of 38 years teaching was, “Give a smile, you get a smile, Give a frown, you get nothing.” It’s great to relate to people who have the same opinion. You make your own attitude. Thanks, Pamela
Which would be gratitude. Haha! Made myself laugh.
I love this site and I try to find all the small things to be happy about!
I agree … your sites and products are AMAZING !
Pamela, It does sound like you keep cheerfully busy! Thought I’d share a source of happiness for me. Last week, my 2 oldest daughters and 2 of my grandchildren came to visit for a couple of days. Love it! Next week, I’m driving cross country to visit my youngest daughter and her 3 kids. So far, August is looking good! Ok, time to go back to putting up some of my garden produce – another source of happiness for me! Keep having fun! Becka
At this exact moment I am in a mellow happy kind of mood. My husband is home, we are relaxing on the couch surfing the internet looking at campers and thinking we might just need one.
People need to realize it is so much easier to be happy and spread happiness to everyone around you than it is to be angry or mad or Unhappy…a lot more fun too! 🙂
Pamela I am so incredibly grateful for your Secret Society of Happy People. This has come at exactly the right time for me.
What kind of happy am I ? I would have to say motivated!
I have made a decision to really promote my business, to really connect with people. Thank You.
So true, Pamela. Our happiness grows deeper when we focus on it, when we focus on the things that make us happy. And in so doing, more happiness comes to us.
Today, I am deeply content.
Really loving Happiness Happens month!
Tried to leave a comment from my iPod last night, but it didn’t take, so here I AM sporting some ENTHUSIASM for this amazing month and t-shirt contest. Thanks for all you do to make the world a happier place, my friend! 🙂
This morning I am feeling mellow while I’m enjoying my morning coffee and relaxing before my day starts. Feeling blesses and grateful for my family and friends.
Today I feel mellow. Enjoying some down time.
Had a wonderful day at a special place – Perennial Favorites. Brought home more beautiful plants and flowers. Then we had a wonderful rain (finally) which made the outdoors crisp and clean and green and Happy!!
