Your challenge is to pick one of the three Hunt for Happiness Week Activities to add an extra smile in your day (and of course you can do more than one).
The activities are in one of three categories:
- Social – Think Social Media Sharing
- Activity – Think Doing Something
- New – Think Discovering Something New
SOCIAL: Hunt for people who make you day a little happier – maybe it’s a co-worker, someone at your coffee shop, or child’s favorite teacher – and share some gratitude with a selfie and share it on your social media sites and ours with the hashtag: #HuntforHappiness.
You might include a message similar to: I’m celebrating #HuntforHappiness Week and I hunted for (whoever you picked) so I could thank them for making me smile. Who should you hunt for so you can share a little gratitude?
ACTIVE: People Watch. Sit somewhere you don’t normally go and just watch and observe people for a few minutes. If you see anyone that makes you happy feel free to share the Happy I-Spy Certificate.
NEW: Send a message to your friends via email, text, or social media asking, “I want to try a new restaurant for #HuntforHappiness Week. Have you been to somewhere that recently opened that I should try?”
BONUS ACTIVITY: Play Happy I-Spy. When you see someone having a happy moment (it can be friend, family or stranger) either hand them a Happy I-Spy Certificate that you printed or send via text, email or post on their social media page the electronic version or tweet the twitter version.
