Meditate for 20 minutes
Silencing or at least resting your mind improves your health and can make you happier.
If you can’t actually stop thoughts from popping into your mind for 20 minutes, no worries. Simply try to embrace the silence by taking deep breaths–the kind that makes your chest rise and fills your lungs full of air– and let the thoughts flow through your mind. If the silence isn’t relaxing play soothing music. If you don’t have any, there’s plenty online.
At the end of your 20 minutes of meditation or silence how do you feel? Meditation is a learned skill, so if you liked it at all. keep doing it. It’ll become easier and you’ll start reaping the benefits.
