Hunt For Happiness Week 2017 – Day 5
Stress stores in our muscles. Today’s Hunt For Happiness activity is to take 5 or 10 minutes and stretch (within the limits of your body).
Stand and raise your hands above your head and reach for the ceiling. Hold for a count of five. Then stretch to the right, with your hands over your head, then to the left while holding for a count of 5 on each side. Don’t forget to breathe. Touch your toes – or bend over as far as you can. If you’re a yogi try a downward dog.
After you stretch take a couple of minutes to take a few deep breathes and see how your body feels.
