I’m so excited to introduce our new and updated website … and the comments are happily working again!!! We’re still finalizing it but I want to give you a sneak peek and thanks to Rose Mis for her her hard work designing and getting the site online.
Also, this is the last question of Members Share.
If you’re new to the Society or just forgot about this project, one of the things revealed in our Optimism Survey is that one of your biggest optimism challenges is dealing with negative people. We can’t get rid of negative people but we can increase the number of positive people we interact with. Since the Society is full of positive people I want you to get to know each other.
Everyone who answers all 9 questions by July 1 will get a present from me (and it’s perfect for Happiness Happens Month which starts in August.
Thanks for participating. I can’t wait to read your answers and hope you enjoy our new happy look!!!
Best part of my life right now is my husband and I having 8 grandchildren….from 4 weeks old to 10 years old! How I love them!!!
The best part of my life right now is when I go upstate to visit my sister. A few days out of the city does wonders for my mood and outlook.
That summer vacation is starting and I can sleep in! : )
being able to move at my own pace doing the things I love for the ones I love.
The best part of my life right now is my job… being able to work with 30 of the most wonderful 6-to-7-year-old children 🙂
Living in a peaceful, beautiful part of the world, surrounded by love and wonderful friends.
The best part of my life is my family, friends, dogs, job, home, humor…wait a second. I just realized that my whole life is the best part of my life.
this is really difficult. i guess, the best part of my life is that my life is really uneventful. i’ve had “excitement” and chaos and drama…so uneventful is peaceful…and quite enjoyable.
The best part of my life right now is that I’m healthy and working on staying healthy!
Watching my three sons grow their families and lives.
the best part of my life right now are my grandsons. They never fail to bring a smile to my face and a spring to my step.
The best part of my life right now would have to be my 6-year-old son. He’s also often the most frustrating part of my life, but he’s at such a great age and it’s mostly a lot of fun. He’s getting to be very independent in many areas, but he still wants Mom & Dad there with him, he still loves to cuddle, he’s still super sweet and loving, and he loves to share his new knowledge and experiences with us. I know that as he gets older, he will want and need us much less, so I’m trying to enjoy every moment while it lasts.
I have to agree with Rita, the best part of my life right now is my husband & my grandchildren. Our 6th grandchild is due in September. I can hardly wait!
I have to agree with Rita: the best part of my life right now is my husband and our grandchildren. Our 6th grandchild is due in September. I can hardly wait!
Three weeks of summer vacation ahead of me! We are finally packing up and moving from this little hellhole to someplace better and I feel better than ever physically as well!
Spending time with my grandchildren. Number 6 is due in September. I can hardly wait!
The bond and love my husband and I share. It is often astounding how well we know each other and also care for one another.
The best part of my life right now is that I am able to live close to my Grandchildren and be a part of their lives in a very “Hands On” way. Love it soooooo much!! 🙂
The best part of my life right now is that the sun is shining and the weather is warm. I thought we’d never get through this past winter and might actually go from winter right into fall, skipping spring and summer all together.
Every day I can go into my garden and enjoy it! “Doing the garden, digging the weeds, who could ask for more?”
I’m finally putting myself first. After years of being a happily dedicated daughter, sister, auntie, wife, mom, employee, student, etc……..I’m making decisions based on my own needs. I finally realized it’s not selfish, but essential, to honor one’s own spirit and where it calls them to be. I respect and support all of the people in the aforementioned counter-roles, and I appreciate that they are reciprocating that energy. Just Be Love……starting with thyself…..everything else falls into place :]
The time I spend dancing.
The best part of my life at this time is not having to work but instead, wanting to work.
My husband…I have just finished treatments for breast cancer and he has been by my side the whole time. I thank God everyday for bringing him into my life.
Being able to see clearly once again.
Being retired is the best…no more struggling to get out of bed at 5 AM to make a 7 AM out of the house to work.
Learning a whole new way to earn a living that includes a whole lot of GIVE BACK. 😀
All of it. I am blessed.
The best part of my life is spending time with my sweetheart! She’s the strongest brightest person I know!
Each and every day!
This may sound strange but going through what some would call a “mid-life crisis” is actually a positive thing. It’s helping to clarify what I do want from the rest of my life and to divest myself of things that no longer work for me. If that’s not reason to be happy, I don’t know what is!
The excitement of experiencing dreams coming true!
Life is good. Loosing a little weight so feeling good. Family & 7 grandkids. Love seeing your posts on FB & emails, they are inspiration.
Best part of my life is my health and my wonderful husband and family.
Being newly retired, and being able to focus on my ministerial studies while having time to play!
The best part of my life is having God in it. I know that He’s always with me and I can go to him with anything. I do know that He is in control and that there’s a reason for everything happening.
My wonderful daughter is so important to me. She’s really all the family I have, except for a few cousins that I love dearly!
My Red Hat and Black Hat friends are the best people in my life! We always have so much fun together.
I have a male best friend, but that’s all he is! He’s a 10 year recovering addict! I’m so proud of him. He’s always there for me and would do anything for me. In turn, I am always there for him and would do anything for him. He’s said that I’m his rock and the reason for him being able to stay clean. That makes me so happy! He’s my rock, too, ’cause I know I can always count on him to listen to me and he’s really good at giving me the advice that is so beneficial to me. I can always count on him to be upfront and honest with me!
I’d just like to add that my goal each day is to help someone in some way. If I can do that, then I know I’ve done what God intended me to do that day. I have so many people to tell me that they appreciate me being so honest and positive.
My life. I am so grateful and honored to be living my life. I have everything I need or want. I love my life!
I enjoy every minute I can. I am grateful for all of the good and the fact that I have very little to complain about.
I was blessed enough to resign from my 22 yr career in 2010 to live the creative life fulltime. But excruciating pain started in Nov. 2011, and in July 2012 – I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia – The last 2 years have been wrought with pain figuring what works and what doesn’t, what meds interact with what, and just learning what the symptoms are in my body and what I can do to combat them – all while taking spine shots for a disc problem. FINALLY WE HAVE FOUND a spine shot that works for both problems so I can create and travel for the Navy Res. with my husband. I am truly blessed!!!
What’s not good? 🙂 The first thing that comes to my mind is that I’ve learned to smile through a long-term illness and find the good in it. My husband, kids, and parents are also some of the best things in my life. My faith in God is on the top of the list, too. Oh, and I can’t forget my utterly adorable cats! Four little bits of sunshine!
Everything. I love my life. I have a fabulous family and wonderful, supportive friends. I have raised a truly amazing daughter who is out there in the world making it on her own but still finds time to call me every day and spend time with me almost every week. I have a job that allows me the time and means to travel to wonderful places and great work colleagues who are fun to be with when I’m not traveling. Life is great!
The best part of my life right now is my family: my husband and three children.
Best part right now? At this exact moment my career is really good and my immediate family is good. That changes, sometimes through the day, (on an ‘interesting’ day) but there are definitely really good moments in those two areas these days. My health is excellent, actually, That’s a really good thing for me right now.
I think the best part of my life right now is finally having gotten to the point where I am very happy and thankful each day for where I am, what I am doing, and the people in my life.
Best part is this moment right now.. and again the next moment… and again the next one….
LIVING IN THE PRESENT…
The best part of our life right now is being able to work from home. I get to be with my Dear Hubby all day long and share music and life all day. Plus I love the work that I do, so it’s a win-win!
What isn’t? I’m retired, I’m married to the love of my life, I have two incredible grandchildren, and every day is the best day of my life!
Like many others have said I am just truly blessed – I can’t name one particular “best thing in my life right now” because life, as a whole, is wonderful. I’m grateful for and blessed with 4 amazing children who are healthy and make me smile daily! My life is full of “best”!
The best part of my life right now is that my husband and I both have stable jobs that allow us to live without worrying daily about finances.
Not having to prove myself to anyone.
The best part of my life right now is the group of ladies that meet at my house every Tuesday night. It’s technically a Bible Study, but we have become so close to one another that we spent at least as much time talking about our current prayer requests, struggles, burdens, and of course blessings, as we do on the study. No matter how tired I am, I look forward to those ladies walking through my door. I’m also enjoying coming up with snacks that are low calorie, low sugar (we have a couple diabetics) but tasty. These wonderful women are happy to be my taste testers. I love them all! 🙂
