I’m so excited we’re on Question 3 of our members share so we can get to know each other better.
Why should you answer these questions and read the answers?
Our Optimism Survey results said that dealing with negative people was one of your biggest optimism drainers. The best way to keep your happy when dealing with unhappy people is to surround yourself with others who are like minded. Secret Society of Happy People members are some of the most positive people you’ll ever meet.
The BEST way I know to do that is to ask some fun questions over the next few weeks so you can get to know each other better and make some new happy friends.
And, to make this an even HAPPIER experience, everyone who answers all of the questions will get a present from me!
You can answer the questions until we quit asking them:
My current buzz word is beautiful. It can mean so many things. When I say it, or hear it, it always brings a smile to my face. Have a beautiful day!
My word is Jackass…I always say its a term of endearment…we were playing categories with my cousin and her husband and the category was “Words of Endearment” and the letter was J – all four of us playing had Jackass as a word…we are all such a bunch of romantics!!
Well, at work, I took a poll and they agree that I say, “What do you want?” And as I think about that, it is true!!
I didn’t have a buzzword until you asked the question! But now my buzzword is going to be patience. I often feel like I want everything immediately, and forget that dreams and desires take time to develop and grow. When we realize our dreams we feel great joy. But realizing a dreams doesn’t start with a finished product. A dream is often a potential result. If I can be patient and not give up, I will find ways to make my dreams come true.
I like this – may i adopt it?
I like these questions; they make me think about things that usually don’t even cross my mind.
I rarely listen to myself talk, so I don’t know whether I use any buzzwords. Perhaps “Why?” ??
My buzz word has been.”Interesting” I use it to stall for time when something makes me angry-“hmm That’s interesting”
or when I don’t understand something. Interesting? I even try to make each day of my life.Interesting or to be interested in things rather than to just glide through them. “Interesting” is mindfulness, I suppose.
Now that was interesting wasn’t it.
That is easy – be happy.
That is how I sign off on all emails. I even have a shirt that a former parent had made for me that says that.
Be happy,
Victoria
I like your answer! That has always been a big theme in my life, as well: to “be happy.”

This depends on where I’m at. My eleven year old would could tell you my buzzword at home is LOVE. I tried playing hangman with him recently while waiting at the doctor’s office and he guessed the word without even guessing any letters first. He says I say it a lot. At work, WACKADOO. 🙂 Last week I heard one of my executives use it and realized I’m rubbing off on him. Cracked me up!
Bestest is my favorite buzzword.
I say “good job” a lot… b/c I work with kids, and that’s a requirement 😉

Love & Gratitude.
(I know that is two words, but they go hand in hand… <3 )
Hmm. I think for me, it is REAL. It’s like the cosmic tumblers have aligned to make certain things become more clear to me, and one of them is to be open, be vulnerable, be REAL. To not be afraid of what people “might” say or think… to realize I can only be me, I cannot control the thoughts or concerns of others. If I lose friends from being REAL, I have to wonder if they were friends to start. Yeah…. REAL. It keeps popping up in my life in a million ways.
Free crochet patterns and this is beautiful! I think 99% of crochet & knit patterns are wonderful! Awwww, another buzz word is wonderful! Ok. that’s enough for now.

Lately I find myself saying “I’m not gonna let that bust my head” which was one of my mother’s favorites. It puts things in perspective and keeps me from dwelling on the negative.

My buzzword is….fantabulous! Okay, okay, I know it’s not a real word, but new and strange words are added to the dictionary every year because Millennials make them go viral. See? Even the term “viral” virtually has a new meaning to tag onto it’s definition now, thanks to kids, likes, and youtube. So, yes…fantabulous! Remember, Webster, you heard it here first.
Just kidding. It’s already in the dictionary. I’m going to invent a real fake word now…like scrumtrulescent.

It’s all Love
“There’s a reason for everything.”
My word in Healthy. I just finished reading a book called “One Word”. It’s about choosing one word to live by for one year instead of a lot of New Years resolutions. It was a very empowering book. Healthy can mean physically and emotionally.
Live every moment.
Lately I have had to tell myself to “breathe”! My sister & I just moved cross country and there are LOTS of boxes to go through and very little space to put anything.
My buzz phrase with my son lately is, “Asked & answered,” because he will keep bugging us about the same thing over and over. We’ve learned that when we just say that phrase instead of getting into a big discussion each time, he has stopped asking so much, because he knows he’s not going to get anything else out of us on the subject.
My word is Better! Do better, feel better, act better.
Amazing. This is an amazing time and an amazing journey that I am on. I have a great job. I am in school which is taking me on a wonderful journey and I am meeting and reconnecting with amazing people.

Awesome is my buzz word! If you follow me on Facebook, you know that I’m a Red Hatter and a Black Hatter. Going to luncheons and events is my most favorite thing to do. I say – ” OH-MY-LANTA” !!! a lot , “I LOVE YOU” at the end of every phone call and text, no matter the subject or length of the call, with every family member, ( no matter if it is 80 times that day with the same person, haha) and finally when one of “those” situations warrant it – “AREN’T YOU WAY TO BIG TO BE PLAYING IN THAT SANDBOX??? GET OUT & GROW UP CUZ I LEFT THE PLAYGROUND A LONG TIME AGO!!!” ( well, you know – sometimes you just have …. you know ??? hahaha)
