It’s our last question in this round of Members Share so we can get to know each other better ~ and who doesn’t want to know more happy people?
Why should you answer these questions and read the answers?
If you answer all of the questions you get a present from me (they must be answered by May 31).
The questions were inspired by our Optimism Survey results. You said that negative people are one of your biggest challenges to stay optimistic and happy and one of the best ways to counter them is to increase the number of happy people you know. The Secret Society of Happy People is the perfect place to meet more happy people so get to know each other.

You can answer all of the questions between now and May 31, 2014:
Len Goodman. He’s marvelous.
Paul McCartney. He is one of the most successful composers and performers of all time, and supports animal rights and music education.
Deborah Norville
Morgan Freeman – I think he is amazing!
I like him, too. Can I sit in on your interview?
I think Sandra Bullock would be fun to talk with!!
Katie Curic. I’ve always admired her. She has had great losses in her life, losing both her husband and her sister to cancer but she always seems to have such a positive attitude. And I’m thrilled that she finally found a new love and remarried last week. I’d love to hear her talk about the joys in her life.
He ain’t alive anymore! Shows you I liked the ones no more around. Otherwise, probably a female astronaut.
Hmm, not sure I’m all that interested in celebrities. Anyone who has some good info on how to achieve a sense of inner peace and calmness.
Robin Williams is not interested in celebrities? And I thought we had a famous comedian in our midst. It’s okay that you’re not “that” Robin Williams. We like you anyway!
Barbara Streisand or Steven Spielberg. They are both so brilliant and have been a tremendous influence in their area.
Robin Williams
Peter Chabanowich.
I met him many years ago and he was a most interesting person. I’d like to meet him again.
The current conductor of the New York Philharmonic, Alan Gilbert
The Dalai Lama – and the reason is simple – his wisdom and his outlook on life.
Martha Stewart. What a life!
I would interview Oprah Winfrey
Ooo, can I talk to the Dalai Lama when you’re done? He has the cutest smile. Always makes me wonder what he’s thinking.
if i’m being deep, i’d choose the dalai lama or thich nhat hahn. but if i just want to hang out with someone fun…i’d probably choose mindy kaling or melissa mccarthy.
Maya Angelu… Unfortunately she is no longer with us. Her words move my spirit!
I’m a huge fan of several British actors, so it’s difficult to choose just one! But top of the list would be Dame Maggie Smith.
I think I would like to interview Barbara Walters…she has met so many amazing and not so amazing people it would be great to hear about them.
Gee! I would want to interview a different person each day!
I think first I would interview Robin Williams. He is so funny!
The Dalai Lama. He seems to have such a sense of humor and such wisdom.
Oh, gosh, I don’t know! Someone currently alive today? Maybe President Obama or the Queen of England. I bet they could both share a lot of interesting stories! 🙂
Betty White
Morgan Freeman or the Mythbusters-gang!
Robert Duvall.
Dali Lama. He would not think of himself as a celebrity though.
Unfortunately I don’t believe any “current celebrity” is worth interviewing.
Stevie Wonder!!!
The living celebrity I would like to interview is Pope Francis. I think he is wonderful.
I think it would be fun and enlightening to interview Oprah Winfrey and Pope Francis.
I think this would be the same answer I gave when we asked patients in our waiting room who were used to waiting and used to my questions. I asked them who would they want as company on an island. I believe the man I choose was Edwin Newman. I like someone who knows a lot of words and can use them correctly. I could listen to him speak all day and night, which would be useful on an island, don’t you think?
I pay no attention to most celebrities. I really never think of them at all. I’m so contented living my own life that I’m rarely intrigued by other’s lives; I just trust they’re happy and following their true paths.
I can’t think of any celebrity that wouldn’t cause me to get totally tongue-tied!
That’s a good point. It’s fun to think of interviewing all of these people, but to actually sit in front of them and conduct the interview would be nervewracking. I love hearing anyone’s story.
I would like to interview Buddy Guy, the worlds best blues musician ever.
Justin Timberlake
Sylvester Stallone
the living celebrity I would like to interview is Dave Ramsey or Dr Laura- I admire both of them for their morals, principles and realistic approach to life.
Bill Cosby
Kevin Costner
Living or dead, the celebrity I’d like to interview is Leo Buscaglia but he died a number of years ago. My second choice would be the mayor of Chicago where I live, Mayor Rahm Emmanuel. I’d like to introduce a new way of communication (well not THAT new) called non-violent communication. In NVC, you learn to observe what someone says or does, tell them how it affected you and make a request (NOT a demand).
Steven Colbert. Or Robin Williams.
Neil Diamond
Reba McEntire, she is my favorite person
Tim Curry – because I’ve always enjoyed his acting, and to ask him what drew him to some of the roles he chose.
Troy Aikman – and my chances should be decent since he lives in Dallas!
Hillary Clinton. I’d ask her how do you handle all the haters and back stabbers? I’d word it nicer than that but that would be the point of my question.
I think I would choose Oprah Winfrey, she herself has interviewed so many spiritual soul people… I think that would be a very cool conversation!
James Taylor!
He would be interesting. He is a great story teller in his music.
Alan Jackson…although he’s a man of few words when talking, I’m sure he could just sing to me and I’d just faint right there, hopefully, in his arms! LOL! Whooo!
Wow, hard to choose. The Dalai Lama or Pope Francis. Next would be Oprah. I have a whole list that I could choose from.
A celebrity I would like to interview would be Whoopi Goldberg.
Easy Peasy one – that would be – “myboyfriendjonbonjovi” hahahahahahahahahahaha
I would probably interview the parents of all these young stars to find out how they feel about their promiscuity on stage.
Hugh Jackman – he seems like an all around good guy.
Meryl Streep – I just love her! I think she was fabulous in every movie I’ve seen her in.
Julia roberts
Dalai Lama. I wish that Maya Angelou and Mother Teresa were both still alive. I would have interviewed them.
There are a few I’d be intimidated by, but would love to talk with…
Richard Gere, Woody Harrelson, Julia Roberts, Angelina Jolie, Susan Sarandon…
Pope Francis – he seems like a very genuine human being.
Martha Stewart
I’m not really “into” celebrities because I see them as a human being same as me. But I would love to interview Robert Downey Jr. because he seems like he IS Tony Stark/Iron Man in real life! LOL
Probably Paul McCartney. He has gone from nothing to everything. He has overcome adversity and managed, in spite losing the love of his life, to keep going!
Maksim Chmerkovskiy- but probably not for the reasons you might think. I think he is interested in the world around him and may honestly like to share ideas with others.
Robin Williams
I would want to interview Megyn Kelly of Fox News. She is beautiful, smart, witty and gets to interview other people all day long. She can hold her own with Bill O’Reilly and I bet she’d answer every question straightforward and honestly.
