When we do the right thing, we feel honorable.
Honor comes in many forms, from refusing to throw someone under the bus, taking care of aging relatives, avoiding gossip, helping a friend, or accepting responsibility when we hurt someone’s feelings and apologizing to them.
Sometimes being honorable is natural and easy, and other times it’s difficult because it involves us admitting our short-comings or things we didn’t do right.
Easy or not, when we are honorable, we have a clear conscience, and that’s happiness.
In what ways are you honorable?
