When you appreciate your blessings, it’s natural to feel grateful.
Yet, ironically, one of the most challenging types of happiness can be gratitude. Knowing we should feel gratitude can be quite different from actually feeling it.
Even when you’re not feeling gratitude, you can still experience one of the other types of happiness—and eventually, you’ll start feeling grateful.
When we feel gratitude, it’s true that our blessings seem to multiply. Therefore being grateful is a happiness that begets more happiness.
