Hunt For Happiness Week 2019
The 18th Hunt for Happiness Week is January 20 – 26, 2019 – it’s the third full week of January every year. In keeping with our 2019 Practical Happiness theme our hunts this year are about recognizing more realistic happiness.
Since social media feeds are challenging this year, our daily Hunt for Happiness Challenges will be emailed each day – don’t forget to confirm your opt-in.
If you want to post about your Hunt for Happiness Week Challenges, tag our posts with #HHW2019.
We also have Hunt for Happiness activities for kids. Teachers can use them in the classroom, parents at home, and youth leaders in their programs. The activity links are listed below.
In 2006, we asked the governors of all 50 states for a Proclamation for our 5th Hunt for Happiness Week. How did your governor respond?

If you’re feeling a shortage of happy moments then download our 31 Types of Happiness Tracker app (search for SOHP) or download and print it out. Then count your happy moments for the past 30 minutes, an hour, or longer. We also have 31 Types of Happiness Emoji’s.
Kid Activities
Hunt for Happiness Week was originally requested by teachers so we have activities just for kids. If you do something you’d like us to add, please email us the details. Special thanks to Cindy Fitzhugh and Theresa Sarin for contributing to these activities.
During Hunt for Happiness Week, January 20 – 26, 2019, we do a new happiness hunt each day. Join Us #HHW2019
