First, thank you to everyone who’s supporting us by Buying Us a Cup of Coffee. Every time one of the email notifications hits my email box I get a little teary-eyed. So again, thank you, your support is appreciated.

So, how are you feeling this week? Really?

I’ve been feeling a little emotionally drained. I want the uncertainty to be over so I can make plans. I like a plan. Like right now I’m pondering Happiness Happens Month plans, and well, it’s difficult to know what August will look like. But I do have a few ideas for our theme. ????????????

Since I’ve been in a funk, between cranky and drained the past couple of weeks, I decided that I needed to do something to turn the tide. To raise my vibe. I turned to gratitude–counting my blessings.

I’m not minimizing the challenges of the current situation. But during this tragic time there’s been a lot to be grateful for:

  • There’s been lots of love shown by neighbors, companies, essential workers, and strangers for their fellow man.
  • We have been able to get food, essential items, and some treats.
  • We’ve had access to news and entertainment.
  • Technology has let us stay in touch with friends and family.
  • And many people have gotten to spend some unplanned downtime with their loved ones and have enjoyed it.
  • Scientists from around the world are working on treatments and preventative shots.
  • We’ve been reminded that we are connected to each other.
  • And unique to me–I’m blessed to be connected to so many people looking for the bright side of life.

I’m hopeful that we will become nicer to each other, we will remember that we are each other’s keepers, and we’ll take care of ourselves so that we can better take care of each other.

So, I encourage each of you to make a list of the things you are grateful for.

As always stay safe, stay home if you feel you should, wear masks if you can, and keep noticing the happiness around you.

As always stay safe, stay home if you can, and keep noticing those happy moments.
Wishing you peace, luv & lots of smiles!!

PSThis is still true this week:
I’m still sending little gifts to the essential workers.
I’m waiting on some addresses and if you’re one send me an email.
Hope to have them out early next week.

Your mission should you choose to accept it this week is to:

Quit Comparing Yourself with Others

It’s so easy to compare yourself to others–
especially with the glimpses we see into other people’s lives with social media.

This week don’t. Simply compare yourself to yourself.

Everyone is in a funky space right now–
so be nice to yourself and don’t compare.

???? ???? ????
When I see people wearing their masks … I’m smiling even though you can’t see it.

Wearing a mask in public is about being kind to others. Protecting others.

As we reopen, stay safe and please make me smile by wearing your mask in public.

We have a new SOHP Subscriber Resource page with lots of the goodies for you to download.

While I know some of you are doing well–thanks for sharing your stories with me–I also know many people are feeling some challenging feelings.

Therefore, I decided to postpone the launch of the Raise Your Vibe Challenge–it will be coming soon, but right now, for the next few days or weeks I feel we needed something a little more soulfully focused.

I’m hosting an 8 pm CDT (most evenings) Restore, Pray & Love FB Live.
