Recognizing Your #HappinessUnites Moments

At Dr. Jack Siegrist’s office with Cande and Michelle because happy teeth & gums keep me happy.
Keep smiling–of course you have #HappinessUnites moments! The question is: Do you recognize them when they happen?
Let’s start by defining #HappinessUnites Moments. These are the moments that make us all happy, despite whatever our differences may be. We may have different professions, political leanings, ethnic backgrounds or bank account sizes but we are all united by common happy experiences where we share smiles.

When I started making my #HappinessUnites Tour list, my goal was to come up with 31 things that I could do each day in August for Happiness Happens Month. It didn’t take long for that list to grow to more than 100 things. I quickly realized that there’s no way I was going to do all of them in August – so the list grew more as I added fall and winter #HappinessUnites moments.
Since we’re asking you to make or print your own #HappinessUnites sign (we have supplies to make your own or print-and-go ones ) to capture your #HappinessUnites moments let’s start your possibility list:

#HappinessUnites moments are everywhere—and they are fun.

This was a happy family I met in the LAX airport. The short one shared his cereal with me … so sweet.
You can watch for one each day in August. If you’re video shy and don’t want to post yourself taking the pledge, you can simply take a picture of you with a #HappinessUnites sign.
Of course, you can also follow me to find out what I’m doing on my #HappinessUnites Tour. My list grows almost daily. Plus, you probably have some #HappinessUnites Moments on your list that I might not have on mine. I’d love to know what they are – they might inspire me to add even more things to my list, or others to do the same.

If music makes some people (like me) happy, and happiness unites, then music unites us too : )
I love music! It makes me very happy. Sharing music is one of the happiness things I’ve ever done!
Music is probably one of the biggest #HappinessUnites experiences we can have.
