What do gratitude and peace have in common? For one thing they are both part of the Secret Society of Happy People’s 31 Types of Happiness.
But more important they are both cornerstones of people who live a mostly happy life.
We all have moments when we know our lives are full of blessing that we need to be grateful for but we don’t feel the gratitude. We probably aren’t feeling much peace at that moment either. That’s why the Society has 29 other types of happiness to help you find something to smile about. Once that happens it’s usually easier to feel the gratitude which leads to peace.
Today, we’re celebrating World Gratitude Day and International Day of Peace. Take some time to count your blessings and increase your personal peace. We can’t live in a peaceful world when we’re full of anger.
I’d love (another type of happiness) to know how you’re celebrating. Share in the comments below! The world can truly use more happy energy right now!

Celebrating by taking muffins to my office and filling my husband’s request for caramel bars to take for his first day of work at his new employer. Treats are ALWAYS a great ice breaker 😉 Hoping you all will find your own way to bring more gratitude, peace, and love into the world today 🙂
Today is also my birthday, and I celebrated all three things by sharing a piece of carrot cake with my husband!
