When I founded the Society in 1998 my goal was pretty simple: make the world happier one happy person at a time.
It sounds naive. But one of the ways I thought we could do that was to have a day celebrating happiness. After our first amazing year we declared August 8, our birthday, as the first Happiness Happens Day. Since it was only one day some people didn’t think that was long enough to celebrate happiness … or in some cases, they were busy that day so it made them sad they couldn’t celebrate.
In 2000 we declared August as Happiness Happens Month and for the past 15 years your participation has made it grow every year. I’m blessed that you are part of the Society and helping make the world a happier place.
You’ve done such a great job of being happiness ambassadors that you’ve grown Happiness Happens Month to be bigger than just me. For the first time ever I’m ask for your help so the Society and Happiness Happens Month can continue to be a voice reminding everyone to simply celebrate happiness when it happens.
Please consider being a Happiness Happens Month Sponsor or Donor. We have sponsorships for individuals and companies. They include the NEWEST Society goodies and even social media shout outs, logo placements and links. If you don’t like the idea of being a sponsor consider making a donation of any amount.
Most sponsorships include T-shirts and FREE US shipping.
You can also order a Happiness Happens Month T-shirt. The sizes go up to 4XL and they come in two styles. Please order buy July 14 (I order very few extras over the the pre-orders).
And since this is my begging blog, we also need your Happiness Happens Month participation so please sign-up to be an Ambassador. And this year we have a fun Happiness Happens Month 31 Day Challenge ~ and I’m working on something special for Day 1 to our 15th Happiness Happens Month Celebration kicked-off right.
Oh, and here’s our new cute phone gripper … it’s included in our sponsorships (and new Playful Membership).
