SONJA LYUBOMIRSKY is professor of psychology at the University of California, Riverside, an author, noted happiness expert and friend of the Secret Society of Happy People. She is working on a new project that I thought some of you might enjoy participating in so we’re sharing it. Enjoy!!!
Dear friends and colleagues:
Would you like to participate in a special experiment, which will test an idea for a new theory and book?
You will be asked to apply a newly-developed happiness-increasing strategy to your own life for about a month and to complete several weekly online surveys, including both ratings and open-ended questions about your emotions and experiences. Your quotes may end up in future publications and/or book. There is no monetary compensation, but we hope you will obtain boosts to your well-being from doing the study and contributing to scientific research 🙂
You are eligible if you are at least 18 years old, proficient in English, and willing to commit to the study for the full period (about 5 weeks).
(Note: This study may not work correctly if you are not physically residing in the U.S. for its duration.)
If you are interested in participating in this study, please contact the researchers at pplab (at) ucr.edu and we will send you the link to the study. Please put SPOTLIGHT SIGN-UP in the subject line. The submission deadline is June 1!!
Thanks in advance for your help,
Sonja Lyubomirsky, Ph.D.
