Kindness In The News
My co-smile maker Kari and I kicked-off Random Acts of Kindness Week doing a #RAK pay-it-forward that was covered by Sean Giggy from WFAA. They are requesting stories about people who’ve inspired you to be a better person so consider nominating someone.
Random Acts of Kindness Day is Saturday, February 17, and I hope each of you does a #RAK on Saturday – but if you can’t do one this Saturday, do it anytime. Consider setting a goal of doing 5 Random Acts of Kindness a Week. If you do, we’d love to know what you’re doing.

Although some #RAK’s cost a little bit of money, many cost nothing so it’s something everyone can afford to do. The best thing about #RAKs is that you may inspire someone else to follow your lead, and they make more than one person smile.
Thanks, Sean and WFAA for helping us inspire people to do Random Acts of Kindness.
Hi Pamela,
Didn’t know if you were aware of the fact that the City of Anaheim, CA is called the City of Kindness. The mayor ran on a platform of kindness and won. They instituted a culture of kindness throughout the city. The elementary school children perform over 1 million acts of kindness every year. I did a really cute little book on the subject (THE MONKEY’S WHO TRIED KINDNESS) and dedicated it to Anaheim.
Good luck with all that you do.
Best wishes to you,
Sally
