We got our hunts out for day one a little late on Sunday. No worries — you can do them today or any day.

Below is the Hunt for Happiness Week video that I did last year showing you that happiness is often right under your nose.
This video stars my handsome #SmileStarterPet Tater — who got his angel wings shortly after we made it.
When I watch it, sometimes I still shed a couple of tears but mostly remember how much fun we had making it. So I experience nostalgia one of the 31 Types of Happiness.
Each day this week you’ll get 3 Smile Starter Hunts.
If you haven’t signed up to be a Smile Starter Presenter, please do that below. That’s where you estimate how many Smile Starter Awards you plan to award. This lets us count your number toward our goal of recognizing 1 Million Smile Starters.
Once you sign up you’ll get your free graphics. We also have some awards that you can purchase if that makes you smile.
Also, this week we want to make it easier for people to find smile starting posts on social media. Each day we want to tag posts that make us smile with #SmileStarter.
Hunt for Happiness Week — Day Two
- Recognize a pet who makes you smile–we have special graphics for this one including a ribbon you can overlay on a photo and certificates.
You get these when you sign up to be a Smile Starter Presenter–we are counting pets in our goal of 1M.
If you don’t have a pet you can recognize someone else’s pet. You can do two hashtags: #SmileStarter and #SmileStarterPets
- Recognize your favorite smile starting quote. If you’re on social media make a post like: “quote” is one of my #SmileStarter quotes.
- Recognize someone else’s social media post with the #SmileStarter hashtag in the comments or share it with the #SmileStarter hashtag.
We want to make it easier for people to find social media posts that start smiles.
